Thanksgiving at a homeless camp

Last year 7 men at a homeless camp gathered there money and purchased 3 jars of gravy and 2 loaves of bread. They had just started to cook when I entered the camp. Will you eat with us they asked. Sure I said. I happen to have a 12 pack of sodas in the van. Plastic plates and forks 3 pieces of bread and some turkey gravy. They asked me to bless the meal. We were almost done eating when 4 men entered camp with sweet rolls via dumpster shopping. A few plates and forks cleaned and they were served. I heard one of them ask for more gravy. I was moved.
The sweet rolls were good and when we finished our sodas we gathered for a prayer.
One man asked if he could pray. LORD thank you for this daily bread and for more gravy Jesus amen.
