Its been raining and in the 30's for more than a week.
I was at the post office checking the ministry mailbox.
As I walked out to get into the van on the ground was a folded
envelope with a check inside 2400.00.
I recognized the names and when I got home I called and left a message.
After a few days and no answer I addressed a envelope and licked
a stamp.
I walked down the hill and raised the flag on the mailbox.
Two days later the dogs at 7am let me know that someone was here.
I went outside and spoke to him.
I shared that I had returned the mail a day or so ago.
He stared at me for a moment and said the check is the first payment.
He said my wife has divorced me. I could hear in his voice how hurt
he was.
I asked him if I could pray with him?
We joined hands and prayed.
He thanked me and drove off.
I don't think that it was by chance.
In one week the ministry has traveled 300 miles had church under
a bridge,
heard taps for a veteran, went to a food bank.
God sent a man with a broke heart to my front door.
If you are willing to be used by God expect to recieve.
Love never gives up.
