While in Austin at a ministry outreach I met a man
who was blind.
He has been blind since the age of 30 and now he is
50.
He shared with me how he learned how to read braille,
and how to walk with a cane.
He told me how he learned to turn on the lights in
a room, this was to let others know he was there .I
found a new friendship with him and new outlook for
the blind.
I spent time that day on the way home thinking about
him and how he has learned skills to live in this
complex world.
I found myself thinking about how in ( Matt.5:16)
Jesus said Let your light so shine before men, that
they may see your good works, and glorify
your Father which is in heaven.
