Greetings, - We must make every effort to win the lost. Today is the day of salvation!

I was praying for those on this list and thought I might update you on one of my most recent meditations. God's 'lost and found' chapter, Luke 15. I was caught by the message of the illustration of the lost coin. I see so many Christians who have lost their 'treasure', in serving Christ. They continue the motions of serving Jesus Christ, but miss the meaning of real joy:
1. They have lost their joy of the closeness of Christ.
2. They have lost their joy of fellowship with other Christians.
3. They have even lost their joy of a vibrant experience of salvation.
What makes the value of the silver coin so inviolable? I believe there is more to this part of the story, even as every believer has his/her own story of God's lost and found!
