I would like to share this report about the ministry to the homeless
and indigent that call me brbruce.

Today started out with a call for a prayer for a job and a report that all is well with one of the folks I've known for 5+ years.
I have a list of needs to go to town and get. Fuel / stamps / water / food / stuff for the ministry. Its 4 miles to town and the road is not paved, when I noticed a man walking to town. I stopped and asked him if I could give him a ride? He agreed and we introduced and shook hands. He was on his way to a meeting at the food stamp office. He said that he has seen this van around town and wondered who I am. I shared about the ministry and how God sends me for such a time as this.
As we arrived at his meeting he thanked me and I drove off. I went on to the store and fill the need list. I needed to go to the post office for stamps and ck the mailbox.
and on the way there was the same man walking back home. I stopped and he got in and smiled. The meeting was not good for the office delayed his funding until the 1st of the month. I drove on to the the post office stamps and a letter from a friend of the ministry.
We stoped by for fuel and then off to take him home. We talked and when we got to his home it was in a overgrown area with a tent and a dog that let me know that it was his yard. I ask him if there were needs that we could pray about. He said yes that he needed food for the week to come. We joined hands and prayed and thanked God for the answered prayers and favor in the week ahead. amen.
Before I drove off I went to the van and got the food / water and shared that this will help for now and that I will go to the food bank on Thursday and stop to pick him up then. He thanked me and I drove off. I began to pray as I drove home thanking God for sending this man my way. When I got home and into the house I opened the letter and there was a donation for 2 x the cost for the food that was just given out. I be leave that is what God calls a double portion.
