George Tiller Update

A powerful video has been uploaded to YouTube.com, depicting George Tiller’s murderous activities.

I urge you to view this video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsVgag3TA_U and send the link to your mail list along with the link to the http://www.chargetiller.com online petition. YouTube registration is required to view the video. Its free and easy, don’t let that simple step deter you.

This video is VERY GRAPHIC! But, it drives home the urgency of the situation.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, we need to stand up and stand firm as a Body and put an end to the abortion industry, once and for all. If we don’t, who will and if not now, when? Tiller’s base of operations, Wichita, KS is just ONE battleground. The war must be waged in our own towns and neighborhoods, by shaking off complacency and changing the hearts and minds of our fellow citizens.

4,000 helpless womb children are being slaughtered DAILY in the USA alone! 45,000,000 per year worldwide! THESE BABIES CANNOT CRY OUT! WE MUST!

Speaker Melvin Neufeld Continues To Delay Action On Tiller Charges

Topeka, KS - House Speaker Melvin Neufeld continues to drag his feet on pursuing a resolution that will force pro-abortion Attorney General Paul Morrison to enforce Kansas law and reinstate 30 criminal charges against late-term abortionist George R. Tiller.

Please continue to contact him and ask him to exert every ounce of his authority to bring Tiller to justice. Speaker Neufeld can be reached at 620-335-5316 or e-mailed at mneufeld@ink.org. Time is ticking. The House reconvenes April 25 for a brief session, and something should be done by then, or this opportunity may permanently be lost.

Wichita event will focus on late-term abortionist George Tiller

Wichita, KS -- You are invited to join Operation Rescue on May 17-20 in Wichita, Kansas, the "Nation's Abortion Capital," to pray for an end to George R. Tiller's late-term abortion business and for all pre-born babies everywhere to once again come under the protection of law.

Tiller was charged last December with 30 criminal counts related to the commission of illegal late-term abortions only to have them dismissed by pro-abortion politicians on dubious jurisdictional grounds the following day.  Efforts are still underway to reinstate the charges.

May is a beautiful time in Kansas and a great time to let the nation know that we will not stop until this gross injustice is rectified.

If you cannot come to Wichita, we ask that you commit this matter to prayer during May 17-20 wherever God has you.

The 77-hour round the clock prayer event will begin at noon on Thursday, May 17, with a press conference, an update on the Tiller case, and opening prayer service.

Organized prayer will be daily at 8 AM, Noon, and 5 PM, unless otherwise noted.  Participants should feel free to come and go any time during the 77 hours, as God leads.  We encourage those who can to fast as God gives you grace, otherwise all meals are on your own.

There will also be a special Neighborhood Prayer Walk on Saturday morning, May 19, to pray for the repentance of clinic workers.

National Day of Prayer

The History of the National Day of Prayer

Because of the faith of many of our founding fathers, public prayer and national days of prayer have a long-standing and significant history in American tradition. The Supreme Court affirmed the right of state legislatures to open their sessions with prayer in Marsh vs. Chambers (1983).

The National Day of Prayer is a vital part of our heritage. Since the first call to prayer in 1775, when the Continental Congress asked the colonies to pray for wisdom in forming a nation, the call to prayer has continued through our history, including President Lincoln's proclamation of a day of "humiliation, fasting, and prayer" in 1863. In 1952, a joint resolution by Congress, signed by President Truman, declared an annual, national day of prayer. In 1988, the law was amended and signed by President Reagan, permanently setting the day as the first Thursday of every May. Each year, the president signs a proclamation, encouraging all Americans to pray on this day. Last year, all 50 state governors plus the governors of several U.S. territories signed similar proclamations.

National Day of Prayer 2007

The 56th Annual National Day of Prayer will take place Thursday, May 3, 2007. The theme for this year is "America, Unite in Prayer" and is based on the verse from II Chronicles 7:14 which states: "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." NIV

Proverbs 3

1My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

2For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

3Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

4So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

7Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

8It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

9Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

10So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

11My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:

12For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

13Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

14For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

15She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

16Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

17Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

18She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

19The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

20By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

21My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:

22So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.

23Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.

24When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

25Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.

26For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

27Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

28Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.

29Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.

30Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.

31Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.

32For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.

33The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.

34Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

35The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
