Homosexuality
God's Word is very clear on homosexuality.
It is not the aim of Christian Soldiers to bash individuals caught up in the homosexual lifestyle, but, rather to encourage them, in love, to repent of, rather than promote or justify, this particular sin.
It is not politically correct to maintain a position that homosexuality (now referred to in PC language as gay) is wrong.
It is the hope and passion of homosexuals that their perversion of choice be accepted as normal, rather than a deviation from the norm, in our society. Clearly they are seeking a minority status, replete with all the protection under the law that minority status receives.
UPDATE: We happened upon a blog post that presents, in detail, the dark aspects of the homosexual lifestyle. Even from a totally secular, humanistic point of view, it is beyond comprehension that society-at-large is willing to embrace such vile and medically dangerous a lifestyle as that which is engaged in by homosexuals. Another web site which has come to our recent attention is http://www.thejudeo-christianview.com - which currently consists of an open letter to Congressional leaders, entitled Same-Sex Unions and Child Sacrifice
The focus of the latter portion of the title is a bit different than what I had first envisioned, given the former portion of the title, although the actual points raised are meritorious.
The 'Child Sacrifice' dissertation I was expecting would be along the lines of the children 'of' same-sex 'parents'. A well-balanced and healthy child will best emanate from the God-given, prescribed formula for a family - one man and one woman - father and mother. A single father or a single mother raising children is not an ideal situation, however, there are numerous factors contributing to the 'single parent' situation.
Despite the objections of the homosexual community, a child with two fathers or two mothers is NOT more beneficial than a single parent-child relationship, and we maintain that is extremely deleterious to the well-being of children.
If the moral majority of our nation stands silent on these issues, we will soon find that our Pastors will be bound and gagged on the pulpit - preaching on the sin of homosexuality will have been relegated to the status of 'hate speech'.
Indeed, even now Christians are being accused of just that - here is just one example.
Perhaps Christian Soldiers will be added to their diatribe, because we stand firm on our contention that homosexuality is an abomination! We love the sinner, we hate the sin. If that is 'hate speech', so be it.
What I think is truly hateful, is the shameless indoctrination of innocent young minds by this perverse segment of our society.
Case in point: The Lexington, MA school system is sanctioning the use of the books "King and King" and "King and King and Family" being read to its 2nd graders. These are fairy stories (no pun intended) that portray a Prince who doesn't want to marry a woman and, you guessed it, folks, married another man.
The story ends with the two men kissing. How sweet.
It gets worse, folks...also, in Lexington, MA....
Now, let's check on the Left coast, shall we? The CA legislative body passed a law that would make it mandatory that textbooks "study the role and contributions of...people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender...with particular emphasis on portraying the role of these groups in contemporary society."
